5 inches!
For those who don't know, I planted these peas
January 8 as an experiment because the weather was so mild.
Almost immediately snow started falling everywhere!!
and SOME people blamed me, ha!
saying it was because I planted my peas so early.
I did think maybe they would rot because we have had so much rain...
but they are looking good!
We actually have a bit of sun today, although yesterday
it rained buckets.
No peas here yet... I'm green with envy ... ;)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...and they look wonderful too, we could use some of your rain, guess maybe tonight, but the frosts have been hard on the plants that have started to leaf out...oh well, it is what it is! BTW, my peas are just peeking through the ground...SWEET!!!

ReplyDeleteMy scarlet runner beans have blossoms! Now bring on the bees! It rained all afternoon yesterday and all night long here. One of those gentle rains that we almost never get. Wonderful...
ReplyDeleteyour having more luck than we are.. we are still having frosty mornings here in San Diego.. go figure,,, our tomatoes are sad looking..
ReplyDeleteLOL I planted beans weeks ago too when it started to get warm. Then it got cold but I am happy to say that they are coming up strong. Can't wait to walk through the garden eating fresh beans:)
