On my bench.....

bone, jasper, and  brass beads...................

different rosary parts...........

Vintaj necklace parts..............

I made these earrings to go with this necklace................
It took me a couple of hours this morning to get them light enough that they were
wearable.
I always tend to start with too big...too many....too much....and have to edit down.
Finally... I am happy with these..........
Repeating a lot of the same elements, but still very comfortable to wear.

  2. LOVE them! I ALWAYS start out with too much... the G-Son has to restrain me when I'm creating a piece, lest I go over the top with it... *winks* I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "Keep it Tasteful Gramma... this one isn't gonna be one of YOURS..." *LOL* WHAT!!! Are they implying I'm NOT Tasteful!?!?!??!?!?!

  4. AND you know I love them as well, you really have an eye for archaic...AND I love the "VINTAJ", that is really a clever use of the word, makes me just want to play the sitar and paint my fingers with henna...right!!! I have a vivid imagination...

When I get some spare time I'm going to make some country/farm dream catchers using jute twine and chicken feathers instead of sinew and eagle feathers and maybe some pillow ticking rag pieces...I just love all my roosters feathers lying around the yard, gotta be sumthin I can do with them.

Keep it up girl, you inspire!!!

  5. I admire your work and the ease with which all the pieces assemble. Your jars are of an incredible beauty which leaves me speechless, your art speaks to the soul!
